The Furuno FS-2575C is the control unit for the Furuno FS-2575 250W MF/HF SSB Radiotelephone, designed for reliable long-range marine communication, including general, safety, and distress communications. The FS-2575 system incorporates Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and a DSC watch receiver for GMDSS applications.
The FS-2575C features a high-contrast 4.3-inch color LCD with a resolution of 480 × 272 pixels, providing clear viewing and convenient operation from the ship’s wheelhouse. It supports quick channel selection through a rotary knob or keypad and provides dedicated controls for DSC message operations.
The associated FS-2575 MF/HF radiotelephone provides 250 W PEP RF output, with a transmit frequency range of 1.605–27.5 MHz and receiver coverage from 100 kHz to 29.99999 MHz. It supports up to 256 user-programmable TX/RX channel pairs, in addition to ITU, SSB, and other supported channels.
