The JRC JCX-151 BNWAS (Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System) is a marine safety system designed to monitor the activity and responsiveness of the officer of the watch on a ship’s bridge. It helps ensure that the bridge watchkeeper remains alert and responsive during navigation.
The system operates by monitoring the watchkeeper at predetermined intervals. If the required reset or acknowledgement is not made, the BNWAS generates visual and audible alarms to attract the attention of the watchkeeper and, when configured, other personnel.
The JRC JCX-151 is suitable for installation on commercial vessels, cargo ships, offshore vessels, and other marine applications where bridge watch monitoring is required.
